Since then, the births of their two sons, Asher, 4, and August, 1, have been highlights.
“Even more than accepting a first call or moving to the Bay Area, my sons give me a deep sense of joy and purpose,” he said.
Pastor Mark previously served at Bethel Christian Reformed Church of Manhattan, Montana as the Minister of Discipleship. He was responsible for the spiritual formation of the youth as well as the pastoral care of the elderly.
Both of Pastor Mark’s grandfathers were Christian Reformed pastors, and it was his maternal great-grandfather who first led the Christian Reformed Church in Bozeman, Montana.
Pastor Mark’s parents grew up in various states including Montana, California, and Michigan, as well the Canadian province of Alberta.
